The station signs up for the whole season.

Rutgers football games to be heard on 97.5

Sports-talk station 97.5 The Fanatic has announced that it's picked up Rutgers football, joining WOR-710 AM in New York City and WCTC-1450 AM in New Brunswick.

The station previously had carried a few games here and there.

    @s1360m: Um, because the station is clearly heard in an area that cares about Rutgers football...which means people will listen...which means the station will get ratings...which is pretty much what this is all about. @peteymoney: What color Kool-Aid are you drinking? Michael Klein reports on lots of topics, the local radio landscape being one of them. Why would he have to be paid to report on something happening at 97.5? If he was reporting on a personnel or programming change at WYSP, would you assume WYSP paid him to do so?
