Rolling out Bainbridge Street Barrel House

Monday, Nov. 5 at 4 p.m. is the debut of Bainbridge Street Barrel House, a neighborhood-friendly bar-restaurant on the corner of Sixth and Bainbridge Streets, next door to Bistrot La Minette and across from Beau Monde.

For the crowd in this pocket where Queen Village meets Bella Vista, it should be a welcome addition. It's open at 8 a.m. for breakfast and brunch, in addition to the usual lunch and dinner/late night service. (Menus are below.)

The contemporary dining room - where cold and heat will be blocked by a revolving door - has a roomy bar with two 50-inch TVs and an open kitchen, where you can watch exec chef Eric Paraskevas (ex-Happy Rooster, Continental, Lolita, Slate, and Terra) turning out stuff like his signature burger (two house-ground, four-ounce patties, Muenster, cucumber habanero relish, and IPA mustard on a house-made English muffin).

Guy in charge is Jordan Fetfatzes, of the Bella Vista Beer Distributor family (hence the 24 taps), backed by GM Agi Czapka.
