Robeks launching a juice truck

Robeks - the L.A.-bred juice/smoothie chain, is launching a truck ahead of its first Philadelphia store opening in September at 1035 Chestnut St.

The Robeks truck - featuring its hummingbird logo, pictures of smoothies and juices and three service windows - is setting up on Thursdays in August at LOVE Park, 16th Street and JFK Boulevard.

On Aug. 14, it will be there from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Aug. 21, it will work from 7 to 10 a.m.

The truck also will set up at wellness events, businesses, colleges and festivals and will cater private events.

Robeks has more than 200 locations open or in development worldwide, including Japan - 37 of which are planned for Philadelphia as well as in Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, Delaware and New Castle Counties.
