Ralph Pecca, owner of the bento-box-sized Ro-Zu at Seventh and Bainbridge Streets, will reopen this weekend, nearly two weeks after the restaurant shut down.

The closing was related to the sudden departure of chef Todd Dae Kulper, who declined to specify the reason for the falling out.

Pecca told me that he has new a chef, Hung Pham, formerly at West Chester's Kooma. "We're still going to be known for fresh, high-quality sushi," Pecca said.

It will soft-open tonight, and take rezzes starting tomorrow at 267-273-0885.

Here's the menu.

Hung Pham is an excellent and imaginative sushi chef. Cannot wait to see him in action at Ro-Zu!
