Restaurant notes: What's opening when...

So many restaurant projects are hanging fire, awaiting that last approval... that last piece of equipment ... that last miracle...

Jet Wine Bar. No trick. Treat! Archaeologist Jill Weber is thinking maybe Sunday (10/31) for the opening of her polished, bilevel wine bar at 1525 South St. Here's the food menu, and the wine-by-the-glass menu.

Famous Dave's. Center City gets its first outpost of the BBQ restaurant, including liquor license, at 1725 Chestnut St. Opens 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 1.

Mugshots in Brewerytown. The new branch of the Fairmount coffee shop is to open at 2831 W. Girard Ave. on Nov. 2 or 3.

Fuel. The health-focused cafe from East Passyunk is due to open at 1225 Walnut St. on Nov. 4.

White Dog in Wayne. Inspections are due for next week, with opening in 10 days or so, at 200 W. Lancaster Ave., Wayne.

Marabella Meatball Co. The shop at 1211 Walnut St. is looking at mid-November.

943. Pat Cancelliere has to resolve plumbing issues, so he's hoping for "right before Thanksgiving" for his long-delayed Argentine-Italian mix at 943 S. Ninth St.

Blue Bear Tavern. The former Doc Watson's across from Jefferson at 216 S. 11th St. is being gutted into a spiffy two-story affair with dramatic entrance.

Speck. Shola Olunloyo's American eatery in the Piazza at Schmidt's in Northern Liberties... Been under construction and seemingly in the final throes for so long. (Short answer: No one knows.)

Cantina Feliz. Tim Spinner and Brian Sirhal say January for their Mexican restaurant in the former Alison two spot in Fort Washington.

Fathom Seafood House. Mike Stollenwerk's seafood bar at 200 E. Girard Ave. in Fishtown, whose name was changed, is awaiting final inspections and should be open in "two weeks tops."

Kokopelli. The soon-to-open Southwestern small-plater at 1904 Chestnut St. has a chef: Gina Rodriguez, former chef de cuisine at La Costa Resort & Spa's BlueFire Grill in Carlsbad, Calif. and alumna of Le Cordon Bleu and the Scottsdale Culinary Institute.

1518 Sansom. Willie Bouikidis is still "a few weeks out" for his restaurant bar at 1518 Sansom St. Chef change: the well-traveled Ross Essner is out, Trevor Budny (ex-Rouge) apparently is in.

Stephen Starr's still-unnamed but eagerly awaited English pub at 18th and Sansom Streets is shooting for December.

American Sardine Bar. The crew from South Philly Tap Room would be ready to open in the former Wander Inn at 18th and Federal Streets in 30 days, except for a lone opponent, says owner John Longacre. He vows to press on to get open.

Xilantro and Matador. Construction proceeds on the two Latin concepts planned for either side of North Wayne Avenue. No progrss to report on Matador (at 110 N. Wayne), but Xilantro (at 103) is now up for January.

Serafina. The hot New York Italian is still saying January for its spot in 10 Rittenhouse (18th and Sansom St.)

Il Pittore. The Stephen Starr-backed Italian, with Chris Painter in the kitchen, is up for late February at 1221 Locust St.
