Restaurant notes: Chefs to demo at flower show
French theme extends to cooking.
Such chefs as Daniel Stern, Lee Styer, Peter Woolsey, Rocco Lugrine, and Nicholas Elmi will do 30-minute demos during the Philadelphia Flower Show at the Convention Center, starting Sunday (3/6).
Befitting the show's "Springtime in Paris" theme, Nick Elmi, chef at Le Bec-Fin, will be first out of the gate on Sunday.
The demos on March 12 will be French-themed as well, as chefs from Starr Restaurants and Stephen Starr Events will be under the lights. Jean-Marie Lacroix of Max & Me Catering will handle the finale on Sunday, March 13.
Also worth noting is the Girls Night Out on March 10, for which Michael Schulson of Sampan will provide the food. And, as more than a few friends have noted, the eye candy. It's sold out.
