Restaurant notes: Organic burgers on South Street
Saturday marks the debut of Burger.Org.
Eyal Aranya and Yoni Nadav love to eat healthfully and had a few bucks to indulge their passion.
Saturday, May 7 marks the opening of Burger.Org, their wildly, boldly colorful organic burger shop two doors from the TLA at 326 South St.
Why burgers? "Everybody loves burgers, but you always have the guilt after eating them," Aranya says. "We're doing meat without the guilt."
Everything -- beef, turkey, chicken, vegetables, even the beverages in the case -- is organic.
Layout includes a smoothie/espresso bar in the front and table seating. You order at the front, and an expediter at a table at the rear kitchen calls your number for pickup.
Hours will be 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sundays through Wednesdays, till 3 a.m. Thursdays through Saturdays.
One thing also worth noting is that although the shop name is Burger.Org, that is not the web domain. It's BurgerOrg.com, and the site is not quite up.
