Rembrandt's, in Fairmount for 24 years, is changing hands.

Owner Jan Zarkin is still on site for now, but he's taken on equity partners.

Among those in the new team are entrepreneurs David St. Clair and his wife, Gail, and chef Richard Calladonato.

Erin Butterworth, who general-managed the Continental in Old City, is running the front of the house.

Calladonato says they'll take it slowly. They plan to infuse new ideas and energy and serve food that "fits the neighborhood" -- without messing up what Zarkin created.

Zarkin says he wants to get into a new line of work.

wow, Jan is going to be missed. Great sunday brunch over and Jan would greet every table and converse with every patron. Wish the best of luck to Rich and Erin!
