Ralic's on South (119 South St.) - the seafood-focused bar from the folks at Ralic's Steakhouse in Haddonfield - will soft-open Friday, Dec. 7 at dinnertime.
Apparently the giant octopus on the facade is drawing the curious, so David Ralic wants to test the waters - so to speak - with chef John Anninos' limited menu of raw bar items, soups, salads, and some appetizers. Opening menu is here; check out the bold disclaimer at the bottom about raw or uncooked food.
Ralic's will be open for lunch and dinner daily.
Other openings this week: Tuesday, Dec. 4 is the first night for Rodizio Grill at the Voorhees Town Center; Thursday, Dec. 6 is the target of the new, expanded, liquor-licensed Fond at 1537 S. 11th St., at East Passyunk and Tasker; and Saturday, Dec. 8 is the expected premiere of Circles, an offshoot of the Thai duo, at 126 Bala Ave. in Bala Cynwyd.
