Psst. Wanna buy the Khyber?

Everything is for sale, right?

Including the Khyber on Second Street in Old City.

Stephen Simons, who took over the longtime club in the mid-1990s, says a recent deal that fell through got him to consider other offers.

He wants to turn his energy to the rest of his restaurant holdings, including Royal Tavern, Cantina Los Caballitos, and Cantina Dos Segundos. He emphasized that it will be business as usual until a buyer is found.

Here's the solicitation, which an Alert Reader forwarded to me.

Honestly, that's an insanely low price for that location, the liquor license and the ability to have live music.

That's the price for the business, not the building. You would then have to negotiate a lease.
