Bradley Cooper movie gets a release date

Block out March 18 for Philly-shot "The Dark Fields."

Rydal-reared Bradley Cooper's Philly-shot film The Dark Fields will reach the big screen March 18, according to its distributor, quoted today in Variety.

Cooper, who was here over the spring shooting the thriller with Robert De Niro, Abbie Cornish, and Anna Friel, plays a down-and-out writer who gets smart and great after taking a miracle drug. Neil Burger directs.

Previous coverage is here, here, here, and here.

In other Philly-shot-movie news: How Do You Know, the Reese Witherspoon-Owen Wilson-Paul Rudd-Jack Nicholson comedic romp that James L. Brooks did here last summer, is up for Dec. 17. Guests at a screening of Eat, Pray, Love this week saw a trailer (embedded here).
