Goodness gracious, is Fishtown/Kensington ready to pop again.

La Colombe is going into 1335 Frankford Ave. with a cafe/distillery.

Work is proceeding ever so quietly on a restaurant around the corner at Front and Master Streets.

And now Tommy Up, who owns PYT and Emmanuelle in the Piazza at Schmidt's in Northern Liberties, has his name on a liquor application to take over Grady O's bar at 1444 Frankford Ave.

Contacted today, Up was uncharacteristically shy, other than to say that plans are in the early stage for a '50s-style tiki bar. 

Post updated: Name will be The Yachtsman and opening is scheduled for April.
