Can't stop the music.

Avram Hornik and Mark Fichera are behind a plan to revive Ortlieb's Jazzhaus in Northern Liberties, which closed last year.

Hornik told me that he plans to open as soon as the liquor license is transferred from founder Pete Souders.

The two, whose club collection also includes Drinker's Tavern, Drinker's Pub, and Lucy's Hat Shop, are still months from opening Union Transfer, a music venue at the former Spaghetti Warehouse on Spring Garden.

But will they have Bootsy Barnes on Wednesday nights? It's not really Ortleibs without Bootsy.

Let's hope they have Bootsie on Wednesdays again. It's too late to have Sid on Thursdays again :(

... but I don't think Pete Souders has owned the liquor licese since he sold it several years ago .. so are you sure Hornik is not pulling your chain ?
