Ori Feibush buys a shuttered Point Breeze restaurant

He and his fiancee say they want "to build on the neighborhood's continued success with a simple but new concept."

The recently shuttered Buckminster's at 21st and Federal Streets will see new life, and the couple behind it have experience in the Point Breeze neighborhood.

Ori Feibush, a major developer in the neighborhood, and his fiancee, Elise Lemay, bought the business and liquor license from the previous owners and say they are eager to work with new operators to build on what they call "the neighborhood's continued success with a simple but new concept."

"We are both excited for the continued growth of food options in the neighborhood and look forward to sharing more in the near future," Feibush said Thursday, hours after the posting of an orange notice of liquor-license transfer. "We expect the restaurant to be open in a few months."

Michael Pasquarello, who owns Cafe Lift, Prohibition Taproom, Bufad, and Kensington Quarters, opened Buckminster's at the former Burg's Lounge in late 2015. The "neo-bistro" closed in June.
