To go, fully loaded: Thief at cantina steals backpack containing gun

A backpack was stolen Monday afternoon from Cantina Dos Segundos in Northern Liberties. It contained a Ruger LCP semiautomatic .380, a set of keys, a knife, and reading glasses.

Cretins who steal unattended backpacks and the like seldom know what they're getting until later.

In the case of the red backpack stolen Monday afternoon from Cantina Dos Segundos in Northern Liberties, a thief got herself a Ruger LCP semiautomatic .380, a set of keys, a knife, and reading glasses.

Like Segundos' signature tacos, the gun was fully loaded. Five bullets, according to the police report. (The video indicates it had six bullets.)

Police did not say whether the gun was legally owned.

East Detectives is looking for the woman who had been seated outside with a guy.

A video provided by Philadelphia police shows the woman walking inside the restaurant while casually talking on a cell phone. Then she takes the bag and walks outside with it and begins pawing through it.

Police describe her as a white female, long light brown hair, sunglasses on top of her head, thin build, wearing a light and dark blue horizontal striped short-sleeve shirt, black shorts, light blue ankle socks, and black shoes.
