Isabella, the Spanish-oriented Mediterranean in Conshohocken, has a new chef.
She's Denise Gesek, a well-traveled grad of Johnson & Wales whose last stop was running the kitchen at a Not Your Average Joe's after fine-dining work as executive chef at the Brandywine River Museum and operating her own catering business.
Her new menu features tapas including stuffed piquillo pepper filled with catalonian goat cheese ($9), and main plates including grilled langoustines over saffron rice with chili pepper oil ($18); skirt steak with Swiss chard, cipollini onion in a sangria sauce ($18); and grilled vegetables with farrow ($15).
