New French chef at Chris' Jazz Cafe
There's now a French side.
Aside from its staple of live jazz music, Chris' Jazz Cafe (1421 Sansom St.) has always been known for New Orleans-style dishes such as jambalaya and a shrimp/crabcake.
Owner Mark DeNinno has enlisted the culinary services of a Frenchman, Laurent Leseur, whose recent past includes Zinc and La Boheme.
Now the menu includes bistro favorites, including frogs legs, escargot, house-cured gravlax and duck parmentier.
Menu is here.
