NYT not impressed with Philly native's boite

Joey Campanaro is on board for a hometown project.

The New York Times just doesn't get Kenmare, a new scene spot in Manhattan whose chef is listed as Joey Campanaro -- he of the well-regarded Little Owl and Market Table.

The Philly bred Campanaro is also listed as one of the partners in a South Philly project I told you about last month called the Village Belle. Though details are few, as the former Frederick's in Queen Village is now being gutted, it's generally believed that Joey's brother Louis will be chef.

(Hat/tip to a reader.)
