More chain burgers in Cherry Hill

Cherry Hill's burger options are expanding.

You have your Bobby's Burger Palace at the mall, your Five Guys on Route 70, and a Red Robin on the way to the Plaza at Cherry Hill (next to the mall) this fall.

Zinburger, a sleek and loud wine and burger bar with roots in North Jersey, is fixing to open on March 5 just down the way from the Five Guys, at the Towne Center at Garden State Park (923 Haddonfield Rd.).

At 189 seats with 11 TVs, it's not a small place. Menu: Made-to-order, griddled burgers (Certified Angus and American kobe are ground twice a day), five salads, fries (plain hand-cut fries, sweet potato fries, zucchini fries, double truffle fries and onion rings), dipped shakes and floats, banana cream and chocolate cream pies, and a full bar with cocktails, 16 beer selections including eight on tap and a wine menu that includes 23 varieties priced from $5 to $15 a glass. Weekday happy hour will be 3 to 6 p.m. On Wednesdays, wine bottles are half-price.

From March 5-8, Zinburger will donate 15 percent of sales to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Burlington, Camden & Gloucester Counties. The organization provides one-to-one mentoring programs to more than 600 youths.
