Viola Davis, an Oscar nominee for Doubt, played Philly's mayor in scenes shot Friday night at City Hall. In one scene, Nutter overhears his boss complaining about rough treatment from the media. (Like that ever happens to a Philadelphia mayor.)
In another scene, Nutter watches as Foxx's character is sworn in as district attorney.
