Matt Zagorski lands as exec chef at Pennsylvania 6

The chef was last at Cuba Libre in D.C.

Chef Matt Zagorski, who enjoyed a good run at such spots as Striped Bass, Lacroix, Rouge and Hickory Lane before moving to D.C. for Cuba Libre, has returned to Philly.

He's just taken over the kitchen at Pennsylvania 6, the French-ish bistro on 12th Street near Sansom.

Marc Plessis, listed as executive chef, is still very much involved, but he's doing the Amtrak shuttle among the Pennsylvania 6 in New York, Philadelphia, and a third location opening this month in Washington, D.C.

Zagorski hopes to launch his own menu in a couple of weeks, one that will include his signature burger.
