Marigold Kitchen (501 S. 45th St., 215-222-6751) will reopen Wednesday (9/2) under new chef-owner Robert Halpern, melding classic French and ambitious, imaginative postmodern techniques.
See the menu here. Unwritten are the prices. Be advised that appetizers are $8 to $12 and entrees start at $18 and run into the low-$20s, though there's a $27 rib-eye.
There’s also a five-course tasting menu for $55 and a nine-course chef’s tasting for $95. It’ll be open for dinner Tuesdays through Sundays.
Joining Halpern is sous chef Tony Maiale, previously chef de cuisine of 333 Belrose in Radnor and Hudson’s on the Bend in Austin, Texas, and most recently with Michel Richard at Citronelle in Washington, D.C. Another 333 Belrose alum, Nina Santucci, is running the front of the house.
