Saturday, Oct. 5 was the finale for Bisou at 4161 Main St. in Manayunk, which is dark as it awaits a new operator.
Chef Clark Gilbert opened it in June 2011 as Gemelli on Main, which he had moved from Narberth to pick up a liquor license.
Earlier this year, though, he revamped it to French, calling it Bisou.
A few months ago, he and building owner Dan Neducsin added an elevated deck.
"I'm disappointed," Gilbert said. "We deserved to have success. But some places make it, some places don't."
