Liz Keptner leaving CBS3/CW
She wants "a break," the station says.
CBS3 says CBS3/CW Philly morning news anchor Liz Keptner has decided to leave the station at the end of the month.
Keptner cites her desire to take a break from broadcasting to spend more time with her husband and daughter, Sophie, 5. She joined the station as Lehigh Valley reporter in 2005.
It was the early morning hours (since September '07) and the daily commute from Bethlehem that got her. She told me she's tired of Sophie tucking her in to bed at night.
