Detail from the sign.

Tunisian-born Ramzi Boughanmi says Lafayette Bistro will open Thursday (12/3) at the northwest corner of Fifth Street and Fairmount Avenue, on the edge of Northern Liberties.

Lafayette, a BYOB, will serve grilled Greek-style seafood, Italian fare, and North African cuisine; it'll be open for dinner with entrees priced $15 to $25.

Is exciting. It would be great to see that corner have a destination restaurant that is successful.

My wife and I went here for valentines day. It was absolutely incredible! I had the most delicious ravioli with crab meat inside of it. My wife had filet mignon and ate the whole thing. My wife is the pickiest eater I know. They had a "Chocolate Run" desert that was to die for. We will definitely be going back.
