King's Oak, one of the larger indoor-outdoor bar-restaurants at the Piazza at Schmidt's in Northern Liberties, is on its way out after two and a half years.
The Piazza has put a real estate listing for the 4,300 square feet into the hands of Michael Salove Co.
Owner Brian Nagele said he was looking for a bigger place downtown with better foot traffic.
Nagele did not say when King's Oak would close, but a judgment signed by King's Oak and the building management - now Westminster Management - stipulates that King's Oak must vacate by June 30 and give up its liquor license.
The landlord and Nagele had tiffed over repair issues, including floods in the dining room from the building upstairs.
The listing does not specify the rent that Westminster seeks from the new tenant, but according to the judgment, King's Oak must pay $9,666 a month in rent.
Nagele also runs the nearby North Shore Beach Club, which is unaffected.
Jacob Cooper of Salove said he has lots of interest in the space.
