Station manager Patrick Paolini called her "a talented journalist," while Halkett thanked her co-workers, "whom I feel honored to have worked beside and to the company for the many opportunities I have been given. Philly will always feel like home." No replacement for Halkett has been announced.

In other Fox29 news, I hear that the durable Sharon Crowley - a street reporter since 1999 - is leaving the station, bound for a reporting job in New York.
