The Christine Clark Real Estate Team of Long & Foster is selling the house of the late Harry Kalas, which sits in a cul-de-sac bordering Ridley Creek State Park in Upper Providence Township, Delaware County.
Asking price is $625,000.
"It's not anything too pretentious," Clark told me. Though the furnishings will be taken, a bit of Harry the K will remain: The bar in the basement, known as the Kalas Korner, contains stained glass with baseball etchings.
It has two floors of living space, including two full kitchens. The lower floor offers level entries and separate living quarters..
Eileen Kalas, his widow, plans to leave the area.

That house is outta here. Goodbye Harry.
Damn, I miss him!
If Only i could afford it. We Still miss you Harry!!!!!
pjb, that is a totally twisted and moronic thing to say about Harry the K's widow.
The Phillies organization should buy it and make it a museum.
$625k? Talk about high hopes.
Eileen Kalas seems like a real catch...
wtf are Adult Children?
I'd leave this area too if I had any sense!
adult children are the mid 20 and 30somethings
that are still living at home with mommy and daddy.
o well,life goes on..........some body will purchace Harry's home,and make it a museum..........g l to the purchacer
I hope that whoever buys the house keeps Kalas Korner intact.
I fell it should be made a baseball hall of fame in this area. His house is all we have left of Harry
Wish I had the money, but a few hundred grand out of my range... RIP Harry
625K is not an estate. The headline writer should be outta here!!!
definitely not an estate. I've seen his house. I live in the neighborhood. It is actually one of the smallest houses in the whole area there.
mattk...is that your business?
Not all children are destined to be on their own...
I bet you married when you were 17 and had lots of children...and yer wife wears a gingham dress...and fixes yer beers...
His son broadcasts baseball for the rays.... The phillies should do everything in their power to get him from Tampa onto the Phils broadcasting network.
many times the most ignorant are the most vocal. Ever go to a Phillies game? An "estate" MIGHT POSSIBLY refer to something left when someone passes away?
Why?
I'm going to the open house this Sunday to see that bar!
I'm in Florida but I'd like to take a long drive to Pa and just sit there and watch that baby..and think about what the best broadcaster in the business is up to now. RIP our good friend.
Heard that a Met fan was gonna buy it and mash Kalas's Corner???!!!???
Whoever buys the house should do whatever they darn well please. After all,it is their property, not a shrine.
Comment removed.
An estate could be listed as a deceased persons leftovers. Hell, there are estate accounts for $5.00. Money does not make or break the term estate. You should be outta here.
Open House on the E-o-leventh of July at 3pm. I need a couple of investors - I plan to turn it into a microbrewery/museum. The name of the beer will be "Way Outta Here!"
