Jennifer Carroll to duel in a 'Top Chef' spinoff

Carroll will compete on "Top Chef Duels," a new series premiering Aug. 6.

Bravo has inked Jennifer Carroll, the 10 Arts alum, for yet another Top Chef spinoff.

This time, Carroll will compete on Top Chef Duels, a new series premiering Aug. 6.

The show will pit former 18 cheftestants from Top Chef and Top Chef Masters in one-on-one competitions lasting three rounds.

Carroll, who was in the finals of the Las Vegas season (as well as on Top Chef All-Stars and the drama series Life After Top Chef), will face Nyesha Arrington of the Texas season.

Chef Curtis Stone will head the judges with Gail Simmons, Wolfgang Puck and Hugh Acheson, plus other guests.

Grand prize is $100,000 and a Food and Wine spread.
