Jason and Delphine Evenchik (Vintage Wine Bar, Time, Bar, Growler's) have gone before the Northern Liberties Neighbors Association with a plan to install a restaurant at 914 N. Second St., which was Feast Your Eyes catering's location before it moved to larger quarters. It's also across from Cescaphe Ballroom and North Bowl.

Jason Evenchik says the name is not final and cautions that it's too soon to create a timeline because certain issues must be resolved.

He described the concept as a chef-driven restaurant (pan-European/American menu) with a solid craft beer, wine and whiskey selection (basically the high points of their other establishments) - as well as jazz (as it's done at Time).

There's a small parcel next to the building, which they'd like to turn into a garden.

Meanwhile, Evenchik says they're looking at June 1 for the debut of The Garage, their casual drop-in across from Geno's Steaks at 1231-1233 E. Passyunk Ave., which has been in the works for more than a year. Brilliantly simple concept: Bar with pool table, foosball, jukebox, and dart boards. Only two beers on tap but a huge can list. And the food? He's installed a food cart to accommodate the culinary bounty of rotating selection of food truck operators, caterers, and out-of-work chefs.
