It's always sun-day at new Shake Shack at King of Prussia

The new location has solar panels.

Shake Shack has been on an opening tear of late.

Less than two weeks after rolling out a location at Drexel (32d and Chestnut Streets), the burgers and concretes are coming to King of Prussia.

A free-standing Shack opens at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21 behind the Plaza.

The address on the building says "233 Mall Blvd." and the address on the website says "160 N. Gulph Rd.," but either of those will just confuse your GPS.

Just plug in "Mall and Goddard Blvds., King of Prussia." It's the former Wells Fargo Bank where Goddard Boulevard dead-ends, near the movie theater and Champps.

This Shack's roof is covered in solar panels installed by Mirarchi Brothers Inc., working for NRG and its Sunora Energy Solutions Division. The solar provides 10 percent of the store's energy.

The PV (photovoltaic) system is rated 18.6kW DC (direct current) consisting of 60 PV modules. The estimated annual production is 20,400kWh/year. This is equal to the average consumption of two average-size single homes, the company says.
