Ten Six Club - a retooling of The Walnut Room above Alfa restaurant at 1709 Walnut St. - opens to the public Thursday, Jan. 17 at 10 p.m. Regular hours will start Jan. 18, Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Same owners, Joe Beckham and Giancarlo Dipasquale, who have Alfa and Fishtown’s Loco Pez. They tout the look - which features white nude mannequins - as "1960s mod meets British rock with bold pinks and golds, luxe Chesterfield sofas, and beaded drapery." The front room will be private.

Early programming includes kamikaze karaoke, British rock nights, and dub step/pop dance parties.
