This just in from the Washington Square West Civic Association's crime blotter:

(REPORT) On Sunday, 04/26/09, 3:15 AM, [complainant] was walking in the 200 block S. Camac St when a male "bear hugged" him and took his wallet. The complainant chased the male to 13th & Manning Sts, where he threw the wallet back, minus the money. The offender was described as a black male, 28 years, 6'3", thin build, wearing dark pants.

    No way a man of that description would be considered a "bear". Sounds more like a twink to me.
