In celebration of Magpie's first anniversary, owner/baker Holly Ricciardi will give away slices of her signature Butterscotch Bourbon Pie from 11 a.m. through 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, or until supplies last, at her pie boutique at 1622 South St.

In celebration of Magpie’s first anniversary, owner/baker Holly Ricciardi will give away slices of her signature Butterscotch Bourbon Pie from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, or until supplies last, at her pie boutique at 1622 South St.

Ricciardi says she's baked more than 3,500 pies in her first year.

In year two, she plans to start Sunday brunch (quiches, sausage pies, old fashioned crumb pie, along with BYO vodka and champagne for Bloody Marys and Mimosas) and offer monthly pie-making classes.
