Have a heart: 943 is returning
Pat Cancelliere is a few weeks from returning full time.
Pascual "Pat" Cancelliere, chef/owner of the Italian/Argentinean BYOB 943 in the Italian Market, says he felt muscular pain while lifting one of his kids.
He visited his doc, who gently suggested that he needed heart surgery - and fast.
Cancelliere - and yes, guys, he is 44 years old - underwent triple bypass surgery July 10.
He's on his way back. His family will reopen the two-bell 943 for dinner Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, starting July 27. He'll be on site, supervising the set-up, but won't work the line till he gets medically cleared in an estimated two to five weeks.
