Watching your calories

Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar aims at SUV-drivin', belly-conscious suburban mommies.

Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar, opening Sunday 5/23 in Glen Eagle Square in Glen Mills, is the latest project down the pike from Dave Magrogan (Kildare's, Doc Magrogan's, Más).

Magrogan looked no further than his upper-middle-class, 30-something suburban world for the concept: a seasonally changing menu from chef Brian Duffy with most entrees under 500 calories, a wood-fired grill, locally grown ingredients (within 100 miles), an outdoor eating area, and an eclectic wine and beer list (many of them organic). Desserts will run under 200 calories.

Decor uses reclaimed wood flooring, recycled glass bar tops, and paperstone dividers.

It's next to a Banana Republic, at 573 Wilmington West Chester Pike in Glen Mills (610-358-1005).

It'll be dinner only for the first two weeks, and then lunch comes online.
