Han Dynasty to Manayunk

Han Dynasty - the Sichuan spots that are all the rage among devotees of non-Westernized Chinese cooking. - is opening in Manayunk.

Han Chiang is taking over 4356 Main St., once home to a Ben & Jerry's, a crepe place, and most recently Beijing Homestyle. It's across from Cooper's and Jake's.

He may open as soon as Dec. 23, adding to an empire with outposts in Exton, Royersford and Old City.

Check this Craig LaBan two-bell review of Chiang's Royersford location, and his more recent three-bell review of the Old City location.

Han is a complete A-hole. He is also a liar and thinks his patrons are idiots. Be prepared to be yelled at by him, just try and throw a mint in his mouth while he is yelling to help cover up the alcohol on his breath.

I've met Han many times and he has always been friendly and personable. Maybe there's something wrong with qweez. The food is also outstanding.

He can yell anything he wants at me, with any sort of stinky breath... as long as he's feeding me dan dan noodles while he yells.

Yeah gotta say Han Dynasty can do no wrong. Flat out some of the best casual dining in the region, regardless of cuisine type. I wonder if the douchy types in Manayunk will take to it, though.
