Brothers Adam and Aaron Erace's little urban-grocery adventure seems to be paying off.

They are expanding Green Aisle Grocery, which they opened in November 2009 at 1618 E. Passyunk Ave.

The second location - five times the size of the original - is pegged to open in May at 2241 Grays Ferry Ave. in the former Betty's Speakeasy/Juice space across from a recently announced pedestrian plaza.

The Eraces also will get a kitchen that will allow them to expand private label line that includes preserves, pickles, nut butters, and hot sauce.

The new store also will have a Little Baby's ice cream counter, for dipped-to-order treats.
