Catch Federal Donuts on 'The View' with Whoopi Goldberg
The Philly chicken/doughnut/coffee specialist was a co-winner of the Chicken Couple, a contest at the New York City Wine and Food Festival.
Whoopi Goldberg hosted the Chicken Coupe in Central Park on Oct. 15 as part of New York City Wine and Food Festival. The party celebrating fried chicken was also a fundraiser for the Food Bank for New York City and the No Kid Hungry campaign to end childhood hunger in America .
When the smoke cleared, Goldberg was unable to declare a winning restaurant, so at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19 on ABC, The View will feature the two winners, Philly's Federal Donuts and Brooklyn's Pies 'N' Thighs.
Federal Donuts partner Tom Henneman will get the moment in the spotlight.
Chef Matt Fein made FedNuts' standard chicken sandwich at the event, which is nicknamed "Birds and Bubbles."
