Food trucks take over City Hall

It's to mark National Food Day.

For what is believed to be the first time ever, food trucks will be set up inside City Hall's courtyard.

To mark National Food Day on Wednesday, Oct. 24, the Philadelphia Mobile Food Association will have The Mini Trini, Street Food, The Tamale Cart, and Jimmie's Cupcakes on-site from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Each truck will offer at least one healthful plate. To get 10 percent off your food total, drop off a canned good, which will benefit Philabundance.

Info is here.

Also today: The Porch at 30th Street Station will host Dapper Dog, Lil Dan's, Nomad Pizza, and Spot Burger from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
