Food Network's new app goes On the Road

Mapped: More than 3,000 locations covered in the channel's road shows.

With all the on-the-road programming that the Food Network does, it's hard to get the chefs and the restaurants straight. Did Guy Fieri hit Tony Luke's? It was actually Marc Summers on The Best Thing I Ever Ate.

I knew this because I just downloaded the free On the Road app for iPhone and iPad that the Food Network just released.

It contains a selection of all the 3,000 restaurants and foods seen on Food Network shows including (yes) Diners, Drive-ins & Dives, as well as The Best Thing I Ever Ate and The Great Food Truck Race, broken down by chef name, city name, and restaurant name. It also lets you build a road trip.

Info is here. Download it here.
