Farm & Fisherman Tavern comes to Montco

The farm-to-table restaurant, new to Horsham, combines a comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere with a bar.

Chefs Josh Lawler and Todd Fuller, whose Farm & Fisherman Tavern is one of the rare hit independent bar/restaurants in Cherry Hill, have just opened a branch in Montgomery County - serving a different slice of suburbia (575 Horsham Rd., Horsham, 267-673-8974).

The farm-to-table restaurant combines a comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere with a bar. The Horsham location, across from the old Willow Grove Naval Air Station at Horsham and Norristown Roads, is open daily for dinner; lunch and brunch are on the way in a few weeks. Dinner menu, with most entrees in the $20s, is here.

The Horsham location, similar in size to Cherry Hill's, with 26 seats at the bar and 125 in the dining room, soon will have 32 seats outside.

The menu is similar to Cherry Hill's, though ingredient sourcing focuses on Montgomery and Bucks Counties.

The bar's 20 draft lines pour beer from Pennsylvania breweries and wineries. Cocktails also use house-made bitters, amaros, sodas, and shrubs.
