Katie Cavuto-Boyle, the "Next Food Network Star" finalist, has a spot for her organic market/takeout:

Healthy Bites To-Go will be at 2521 Christian St. (at Grays Ferry), across from Resurrection Ale House. The spot previously was Whisk & Spoon.

Cavuto says she's planning to open in two or three months. It will be an organic market, takeout and small cafe/outdoor seating, with cooking classes and delivery and catering.

She also is planning a co-op that will give members access to organic produce.

That's not Grays Ferry, it's South West Center City, Graduate Hospital, G-Ho, The Devil's Pocket... But not Grays Ferry.

Awesome! That is a great location provided that it is aggressively advertised to all the numerous foodies who live within a stone's throw.

Right, if it's above Washington Ave., it really is SWCC and not "Gray's Ferry" anymore. That's just what the locals think. Gray's Ferry Ave. does run through SWCC on the west side though; that's what confusing for people.

It's Grays Ferry. Get over it.

Well Graduate Hospital is closed, so what does it mean to call the are "Graduate Hospital," or "G-Ho" anymore? No one ever really called it "G-Ho" anyway.

It was never "Grays Ferry" unless you over-generalized. It was always the Irish Pocket.

People who live here now call it what it is if you call CC what it is, SWCC.

If you take how the real estate listings call a place as its name, no matter what paper, the papers are using the phrase "SWCC" to refer to it. The names "South of South" and "Graduate Hospital" are used less and less often, it seems. It just seems like a convenience.

G-Ho and SoSo (just like the horrid B3 and JuNoGi) is a bunch of realtor-speak that thankfully never caught on. The full "Graduate Hospital" doesn't sound so bad, especially considering old names for neighborhoods often stem from old landmarks that have long since faded into the past. But to be specific, CleanupPhilly is correct--2521 Christian is Devil's/Irish Pocket.

It doesn't say it is in Grays Ferry. It says "at" Grays Ferry, meaning where Christian St. meets Grays Ferry Avenue. Pretty straight forward if you ask me.

Brian, it said "in Grays Ferry" until Dr G. corrected it. Wander over to PhiladelphiaSpeaks and visit the Southwest Center City forum.

Please note reference in text: "headline corrected." Dr. G's initial post referred to the earlier headline.
