East Passyunk sets its 2014 restaurant week

Center City District Restaurant Week is coming up Jan. 19-24 and Jan. 26-31.

After that, East Passyunk gets its turn. The hot slice of South Philadelphia will host its second restaurant week from Feb. 23 through March 1.

This time, 24 restaurants will offer lunch and dinner specials for $15, $25 or $35. Although menus themselves won't be unveiled till later this month, here is the lineup:

Adobe Cafe, Birra, Cantina Los Caballitos, Chiarella's, Da Vinci, El Zarape, Fond, Izumi, Karina's, Laurel, Le Virtu, Lucky 13, Mamma Maria Ristorante, Marra's, Noir, Noord, Paradiso, Plenty, POPE, South Philly Bar & Grill, Stateside, Stogie Joe's, Tre Scalini, and Will BYOB.

This will be the restaurant week debuts of both Laurel and Noord, and it will mark the last week in the current location for Karina's, which will reopen around the corner this spring.

While some restaurants will have limited availability, many will offer their special every day. This year, organizers will tweet last-minute openings, even on weekends. (Follow #EPRW on Twitter for notification.)
