Eagles show at Citizens Bank Park canceled

POSTED: Friday, May 21, 2010, 4:01 PM

Live Nation just announced that the concert featuring The Eagles, Dixie Chicks, and Keith Urban concert on June 14 at Citizens Bank Park has been canceled.

Refunds will be available at place of purchase.

Live Nation did not indicate the reason for the cancellation, but a peek at the Eagles' touring schedule, Dixie Chicks' touring schedule, Keith Urban's touring schedule shows merely blank spots where the Philly date would have been -- suggesting that ticket sales were sluggish.

Ticket sales were beyond sluggish. Don't think they sold enough to even fill the Wachovia Center. Thats what you get when you charge $220 for most of the seats and you aren't very good to start with.
