Eagles fever hits a steakhouse
Union Trust steakhouse's opening has been pushed back a week. The owners fear/hope that the VIPs, ballers and other glitterati who otherwise would attend will be in Tampa watching the Eagles.
The grand opening party of Union Trust steakhouse (717 Chestnut St.) had been scheduled for Jan. 31.
Now that there's a chance that the Eagles will play in the Super Bowl on the very next day, operating partners Terry White and Ed Doherty have called an audible.
Fearing/hoping that the VIPs, ballers and other glitterati who otherwise would attend will be in Tampa, they've pushed back the opening party to Feb. 7, with the public opening Feb. 9.
