Drink Philly does a fundraiser

Drink Philly, a featured friend of, is celebrating the anniversary of its monthly First Friday party and art show with a fundraiser for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5 at its headquarters on 239 Chestnut St., in Old City.

The event will include art, jazz, raffles and cocktail samples (Lemon Moonshine Margaritas from Philadelphia Distilling) and food (from the Khyber Pass).

It's all free, though donations will be accepted.

Drink Philly’s first Friday parties began in August 2010, when founder Adam Schmidt was inspired by the old City's First Friday promotion.
