The Continental's spicy fries make Food Network's best-of list

A 10-inch mound of spicy potatoes is hard to miss.

The Szechuan Shoestring Fries from The Continental in Old City are part of Food Network Magazine's 10 favorite french fries, from its July/August issue.

"If people haven't heard about the fries," chef Jamie Wolf told the mag, "they order them when they see them come out of the kitchen."

Hard to miss the 10-inch stack of lacey fries, which are drizzled with mustard sauce. They're so popular, they've made their way onto the lunch menu ($8.50) after wowing the dinner crowd.
