Isabella in Conshohocken is sold; it's No. 3 for local buyer

Brian and Christina Pieri own StoneRose and Bar Lucca in the borough.

Brian and Christina Pieri are expanding their holdings in Conshohocken.

He opened the StoneRose, on Fayette Street near Ninth, in October 2009.  In late 2012, he bought the landmark Totaro's on Hector Street, dramatically revamping it and opening Bar Lucca in mid-2013.

The latest: He and his wife, Christina, have bought Isabella, the Mediterranean wine bar nearby at Elm and Cherry Streets. The seller, Tom Richter, said the deal was final last week.

"We're excited to be in Conshohocken," Brian Pieri said. "We were looking for another place and decided to go all on in here. We think it's our best option to keep it in the community."

The Pieris have not settled on a name or concept, though they expect to open in late fall.

Meanwhile, they're working on another joint project: their first child, due Dec. 26.
