Conshohocken Brewing Company starts pouring

Tuesday, April 1 marked the public opening of Conshohocken Brewing Company (739 E. Elm St., Conshohocken, 610-897-8962).

The tasting room, which has garage doors leading out to the Schuylkill River Trail, has a limited menu of beer-friendly snacks such as pretzels, chips, chili, soup and hummus. Grilled cheese and pulled pork are on the way. One of the 20 or so investors is sports talker Glen Macnow.
Horne, who started at Yards Brewing before heading to Oskar Blues and Avery Brewing Co. out west, expects to have 10 beers on tap. Early winners include the double IPA and Cascadian Dark Ale..
